This tool enables companies to manage their subsidiary rights agreements, and carefully monitor the receipt of payments from third party licensees. And because it links directly into MetaComet’s contract management system, it adds incredible convenience, cost savings, and protection.

“Tracking subrights – both foreign and domestic – has long been a headache for content providers. We have now solved that issue,” said David Marlin, MetaComet’s President.

Because of this direct link, all subright receipts automatically calculate payouts to royalty recipients based on the rules in the contract. This automation improves efficiency and accuracy, thereby reducting costs.

The new module also ensures that only the rights that are held can be sold: if the right does not exist in the contract, Royalty Tracker does not allow you to sell it.

Optional components of this new tool include Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and direct general ledger integration.
