Copyright News from Google

Google has amended its search results to account for the number of valid copyright removal notices a site has received. In other words, sites that post copyrighted works and are reported to Google as copyright violators will be pushed farther down in search results. This is good news for copyright holders. Google has processed copyright removal notices for more than 4.3 million URLs in July and August 2012. Click to read the report from Google SVP of Engineering Amit Singhal.
