Software Quality Assurance Engineer
MetaComet® is seeking an
experienced full time Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our
dynamic engineering team. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer
participates in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
to develop and implement comprehensive test plans. Test plans may
include implementation of automated test solutions. In addition, the
Software QA Engineer develops quality assurance standards, defines and
tracks quality assurance metrics, and manages the build and release of
production software.
The ideal candidate
will also have an excellent attention to detail, communicate effectively
with customers, and work well in a team environment.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Engineering
or equivalent experience

2+
years programming experience in C#, Java or other 3GL
- Experience in
relational databases and SQL
- Working
knowledge of quality assurance methodologies

Experience with automated test tools a plus

Software
Applications Engineer
MetaComet is seeking an experienced full
time Software Applications Engineer to join our dynamic engineering
team. The Software Applications Engineer participates in all
aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and
enhance our enterprise software products. He/she will have an
understanding of relational databases, object oriented programming,
source control, and agile SDLC.
The ideal candidate

Technical Support Engineer
MetaComet is seeking a full time Technical Support Engineer. This
position will support and train end users, work internally with our
engineers to proactively address issues, participate in quality
assurance (QA) activities, manage the release of software, and write
documentation. This is a highly visible position with a direct impact on
the customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have an
excellent attention to detail, communicate effectively with customers
when necessary and be committed to meeting their needs. Occasional
travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience
- 2+ years professional experience
- Technical support experience in a
software company or enterprise
- IT environment
- Understanding of software
engineering and software release protocols
- Understanding of bug and issue
tracking protocols and tools
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Data analysis skills:
- experience with Crystal
Reports or other report writing program, or
- experience writing ad-hoc SQL
queries
- Knowledge or experience in
accounting a plus
